Socorro Stingrays

Welcome to the City of Socorro Stingrays Swim team!

Practices will take place at the City of Socorro Swimming pool. Registration is $30 per swimmer (the $30 fee for Sundance). Registration includes a t-shirt and latex swim cap. Those registering after June 15, 2026 do not receive a t-shirt or cap. The competition suit is optional. The competition suit is TYR brand Seismo Durafast Lite One Piece Swimsuit in color red/white/blue with the MAXFIT cut for the female suit. We will have a team store soon where you can purchase the suit at a discounted rate (jammers are $36 and suits are $48), https://djsports.com/teams/socorro-stingrays or you can purchase the suit from another place (ie Amazon, swimoutlet, TYR). We will send out the link to the store as soon as we get it.

Swimmers MUST be able to swim the short distance of the City swimming pool (~25m).

ALL registrations must be completed online.

The swim season will be from June 9, 2026 through July 19, 2026 at the City pool.

Age of the swimmer is based on their age on May 1, 2026. 

We are part of the Sundance Swimming league. It is a VOLUNTEER organization. We rely on parent help to make this team a success. A family member from each swimmer must volunteer at least one time during the swim season. We will need timers, ribbon volunteers, and hospitality volunteers at all home meets and timers at every away meet. Thank you for helping make this program a success.

Practice Times

AM Practices Tuesday through Friday

7:00 am to 7:50 am = 13 and up age groups

8:00 am to 8:50 am = 9 to 10, and 11 to 12 age groups

PM Practices Tuesday through Friday

5:50 pm - 6:40 = 8 and under, 13 and up age groups

6:50 pm - 7:40 = 9 to 10, and 11 to 12 age groups
