FUNDRAISING

🍩 Krispy Kreme Donut Fundraiser

Order forms are due June 18. Please submit payment and forms to either Megha or Becky during practice.

We are asking each swimmer to sell 3 dozen donuts. If you prefer not to participate in fundraising, you may opt out with a $30 donation.

Donut Delivery – Friday, June 26

• If you sold donuts, please arrive at the pool at 8:00 AM
• Volunteers needed: We need help unloading and sorting donuts beginning at 7:30 AM.

📸 Photography Raffle

Moments in Motion Photography is hosting a raffle to benefit the Socorro Stingrays Swim Team.

• $5 per ticket
• Prizes include one of three photo sessions (see attached flyer)
• Last day to purchase tickets: June 17

🏠 Home Meet vs. Belen

Our first home meet is here! Please sign up for volunteer positions in SwimTopia. See the attached flyer for instructions.

Meet Day Information

• Swimmers arrive by 7:00 AM
• Socorro will be on the south side of the courtyard
• Belen will be under the north shade structure
• Please bring your own shade structures and chairs
• We are also looking for a few extra shade structures to place behind the starting blocks

Upcoming Home Meet

• June 27 vs. YMCA (Kraken) and T or C

⏱ Timers Needed!

Thanks to our fundraising efforts, we now use Time Drops, which means no stopwatches and no writing—just push a button!

• Socorro is responsible for 5 lanes (10 timers)
• We would love enough volunteers to cover half-meet shifts
• Never timed before? No problem! We'll pair you with an experienced timer.
• Bonus: You'll have the best seat in the house to watch the meet!

📅 Future Event Information
🏅 District Meet – Tentative date is Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Location TBA
Swimmers must attend 2 regular meets to be able to attend the district meet.
Remaining meets:

• June 29 (Socorro)
• June 27 (Socorro)
• June 30 (JCC)
• July 6 (TCA)
• July 8 (Canyon Club)

🎉 Championship Meet – Saturday, July 18, 2026
Held at the Albuquerque Academy Natatorium.
How to qualify:
Place Top 3 overall in an event at District = Automatic qualification.
Then, the next 7 fastest swimmers across all districts will be added as wildcards (for a total of 16 swimmers/event).
Wildcard notifications will be sent on the Thursday after District.
