Good morning!

We had a great first few days and look forward to a great season!

Our first meet is next Monday (June 10th - TCA 2901 Indian School Rd NE Albuquerque, NM 87106). There will be a bus available. If your swimmer wants to ride the bus, please have them at the city pool by 6:05 am. Bus leaves at 6:15 am. Warmup is 7:50 am and the meet starts at 8:15 am. If you are bringing your swimmer to the meet, be sure to arrive by 7:30 am.

What to bring to the meet

• Swimsuit (team suits might be here by then). Girls can wear a one-piece suit and boys can wear jammers or swim trunks.
• Goggles
• Swim cap - if you have one
• Sunscreen
• Towel
• Water/Gatorade/snacks

Also, please see the instructions below on how to sign up your swimmer(s) for meets and how to volunteer as a timer (the best seat in the house). If you are unsure what events your swimmer can swim, you can talk to the coach. You can just mark that your swimmer will/will not attend the meet for now.

We will also need timers for the meet. You can sign up in swimtopia, or just reply back to this email or remind that you can time.

Signup Instructions for Swims and Jobs at Meets

How to Register for Jobs and Swims at a Meet:

Log in to the website. Login is found in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

If you can’t remember your password, click "Forgot your password" to reset your password.

Under the Meets & Events tab, select "Signup Calendar" to sign up for a swim meet.

Job Signup

• Click the green JOB SIGNUPtab and sign up for volunteer timer shifts (note one parent may sign up both parents for jobs -- scroll down and you’ll see the other parent listed). If you know you and your spouse will not be at this meet, skip to Swimmer Signup.
• Click Save Assignments.
• Click Back to Signup Calendar.

If your team allows your athletes to declare attendance and/or select meet entries:

• Click the green MEET ENTRY tab, and then click the green Edit tab under your athletes' names.
• For each of your athletes, select an option from the drop down list next to their names.
  • (undeclared)
  • Attending
  • Not Attending

• If the coach allows the athlete to select events, select the appropriate events from the list shown. If a prompt comes up that asks if you have received coach’s approval, make sure you get that approval on deck or via email.
• Specify your swimmer's availability for relays from the drop down options (if offered).
• Click Save to record your choices.
