Tanoan meet (6/22)- please read and sign up by Monday

Good Afternoon,
We had a great meet today! Our next regular meet is Wednesday (6/22) at Tanoan in Albuquerque. They are asking for entries to be entered in by Monday at 6:00. PLEASE log into swimtopia and mark the events your swimmer wants to swim. You can also just reply back to this email with the events tour swimmer wants to swim.
Also, please see the email below from the Tanoan coach. There is a limit on the number of parents per swimmer.
Meet Notes:Order of Events: Similar to any other regular season Sundance meet, we will run the female event immediately prior to the corresponding male event. We will run through the age groups in the typical ascending order, starting with 8 & Under Females and ending with 15-18 Males. TWO ADDITIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO TANOAN ORDER OF EVENTS WITH AN OPEN MIXED PRE-TEAM 25 FREESTYLE AND OPEN MIXED PRE-TEAM 25 BACKSTROKE. These additional events will be placed immediately preceding their 8 & Under Female counterparts.
- Tanoan Country Club Pool is an 8-lane SCM facility.
- I will start the meet. If a swimmer misses their race due to a heat combination, we will make sure they still get to swim their race.
- Tanoan Country Club will be assigned lanes 1, 3, 5, 7.
- Socorro will be assigned lanes 2, 4, 6, and 8.
- Please bring volunteers. We use 2 timers/lane/half.
- Meet must conclude no later than 10:45 AM.
- Lifeguards will be on-deck for the duration of the meet.
- Diving well is strictly off-limits until the conclusion of the meet.
- Tanoan Warm-Up (Lanes 1-8): 0700 - 0730
- Socorro Warm-Up (Lanes 1-8): 0730 - 0800
- Timer’s Meeting: 0800
- Start Time: 0810 NO SCRATCH MEETING
COVID Precautions: We are happy to welcome your team and parents to Tanoan Country Club for this regular season meet. When possible, we ask that each family try to limit the number of spectators at the meet to 2 non-swimmers/family. While we recognize that parental support is a vital component to Sundance competition, our goal with this policy is to keep everyone safe. Ribbons will not be handed out on deck; instead, we would prefer to share ribbons and have each team distribute their ribbons independently.
Facility Notes:
As we all know, not everything will go as planned but my coaching staff and our Tanoan volunteers will do our best to make the meet run as smoothly as possible. - Please enter Tanoan at Rolling Hills/Tanoan Country Club Drive
- All vehicles must passthrough THE LEFT SIDE OF our security gate (a line is likely to form).
- All swim team families should park in the lots located immediately to the South or West of the pool.
- All participants and spectators must enter the pool through the South gate.
- Male and female changing rooms/restrooms will be available.
- Snack Shack will open ~8:00 AM and will provide a limited number of burritos and drinks.
- Please do not let swimmers/families wander into the main clubhouse area (East of the pool).
