Good morning!

It is hard to believe we are in the final stretch of the swim season! See the upcoming dates below. I will also send out reminders for each of these closer to each event. Please be sure to read the one on district, as we need a response on that one ASAP.

• Donuts July 8, 2021- Krispy Kreme donut orders will be available July 8th at 9:30 am. You can pick up your order at Finley Gym (the south side of Finley gym, north of the police department).

• Tanoan Meet - July 10, 2021 - We will have a swim meet Saturday at the Tanoan country club in Albuquerque (10801 Academy Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111). There will be a bus available. More info on times and volunteers to follow. If your swimmer will be attending, be sure to log onto the swimtopia app or website and mark them as attending. If you need help with this, please let us know. You also now have the option to select the events they would like to swim. Please note, the coaches have the final say and might change the events they swim if necessary. 

• Picture day - July 13, 2021 - at Tech pool. We will be having swim team pictures on July 13. A HUGE thank you to Donna Armijo for doing this for us!! Make sure your swimmer wears their team suit. They can wear their team suit to practice in after pictures. Age groups and individual pictures will be taken before each swim session. An entire group picture will be taken at 6:30 pm. If you would like a copy of the pictures, please bring a flash drive with your swimmers name on it. 
  • Picture schedule:
    • 8 and under = 12:30
    • 9 to 10= 1:30
    • ENTIRE GROUP=  6:30
    • 11-12 = 6:45
    • 13 and up = 7:30

• District meet - July 14, 2021 at ACC. We would like all available swimmers to attend this meet. Our district this year consists of Albuquerque Country Club (ACC), Canyon Club, and us. We have to have entries entered by tomorrow (July 7th). Please let us know ASAP if your swimmer will NOT be attending the district meet. A bus will be available.

•  Championship meet- July 17, 2021 -  Those individuals who qualify at district, and selected relay teams will attend the Championship meet in Albuquerque at the West Mesa Aquatic Center. There will not be a bus available for the championship meet. More information to follow. We will need several volunteers for this meet. 

• Swim Banquet - July 25, 2021 - at Tech pool in the evening. More information to follow.
